His daughter

My Father ❤️ Loving. Loyal. Supportive. That’s who my incredible father was. The earliest memories of him included sharing his faith with us and praying constantly. In the evenings he would read from the Bible, explaining everything that was too much for our little minds to comprehend. He would help us memorize scripture that which is still engrained into my heart. His unwavering faith and love is what showed us what a true hero is- a godly and faithful man. Missing him everyday ❤️

The impact my dad had on my life is difficult to put into words in just one paragraph. He was a man who loved God first and foremost, and from that love flowed his deep love for his family and others. He was kind, caring, compassionate, and truly the best dad. He was intentional with his time and always made us a priority. He cared deeply, listened with empathy, and never missed an opportunity to play with us, teach us God’s Word, or simply be present. He was also fun, adventurous, and knew how to enjoy life. He created countless memories with us and taught us to embrace life, try new things, and find joy in the moments we shared together. He led our family well, not only through his words but through the way he lived his life. He led by example and was a man of unwavering integrity, what you saw was exactly who he was. I am so thankful for the life he lived, the love he gave, and the example he set. Although he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on. His faith, character, joy, and love will continue to shape our lives for generations to come.

Thank you, dad. Thank you for all the opportunity you gave me, for the home you provided, for the love and support through all this time. I know you didn't see my graduation, but I know you would be proud. I know you didn't see my wife, but I know you would be proud as heck. One day I'll get to see you in heaven, and we will see one another once more. I know this because I believe in Christ Jesus. Thank you, dad, for everything. I love you.

His wife

My husband and I met through a photograph he saw at my sister's, and he said this girl would be his wife. Some time later we met, and a fondness for each other appeared. We were friends for two years, he was attentive and sincere with me, and so we came to love each other and decided to marry. I was happy with him, because I always saw his care and love for me and for our children. He had firm faith in God. There was a time in his life when his eyes were badly injured, and the doctors said he would never see again. It was a heavy blow for our family. We prayed, and our friends and relatives stood with us. Kolya firmly believed that God would heal his eyes and his sight would return. Two months of treatment, prayer and fasting passed, and his sight came back completely, thank God.
